The 2012 Minnehonk
Lake Watershed Survey report is now available! The watershed survey was conducted in October 2012, in partnership with the Town of Mount Vernon, Mount Vernon Community Partnership Corporation (CPC), 30 Mile River Watershed Association, and the Greater Minnehonk Lake Association. The survey identified more than fifty sources of nonpoint source pollution with a direct connection to Minnehonk Lake. The report provides actions for helping protect
and improve lake water quality, and recommendations for landowners to help address the problems identified in the survey. Click here to view the report. Upcoming meetings:
Tuesday June 25, 2013: The Ordinance Review Committee will be meeting at 7pm at the Dr. Shaw Memorial Library. The committee usually meets the first and third Mondays of every month.
Monday July 1, 2013: Board of Selectmen's meeting, 7pm at the Mount Vernon Town Offices. The Selectmen meet every other Monday. Click here to see the agenda for the next meeting.
Tuesday July16, 2013: Planning Board meeting, 7pm at the Mount Vernon Community Center. The
Planning Board meets the 3rd Tuesday of every month.
