Select Board
The people of Mount Vernon elect three Selectmen who have the responsibility for the overall management of the town.
Selectmen are elected for a (staggered) three year term without term limits. They choose their own chairperson.
Business is conducted during public Selectmen's Meetings every other Monday at 7:00 p.m. Signing of warrants begins at 6:15.
